I'm Debs, and you've found my little corner of the internet
I am a happily married mum of three.
Our house is home to myself, my husband, three children and a huge variety of special educational needs and disabilities (ranging from severe visual impairment to autism, from speech and communication issues to dyspraxia and from osteoarthritis to vertigo) and it's also home to one very nutty dog who fits right in!
I try to keep it real, I don't pretend I have the perfect Instagrammable home life, work/life balance or eating habits. Like you, I have good days when motivation comes easily and days when just getting out of bed is an achievement.
Life is never ever dull!
I hope you enjoy reading my posts, please feel free to leave your comments and thoughts.

The aim of Teen Calm is to help young adults develop a routine that builds self-regulation skills so they can cope with those annoying doubts and insecurities

Self Care – Not a priority, sorry! How often do you put you first? How often do you do something that is just for your benefit and no one else’s? How often do you make time for yourself, to have a pamper, go for a run, meditate, write, read, watch a movie, paint, crochet, go …

I’m heart broken at the idea of her sitting alone without someone nearby to give her hand a squeeze and let her know she’s not on her own.
PD tweet saying : Irrelevant of your view of the Royal Family, I cannot imagine having to sit alone, in public view, grieving the man you have loved for over 70 years. #RoyalFuneral ... See MoreSee Less
If the Mersey overflows today, we know the reason why. Because all the people of Liverpool, are not ashamed to cry. Let us not forget them, remember them with pride. For we are one big family, the pride of Merseyside! RIP 96, "YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE".
My new planter is a thing of beauty. Spent the afternoon repotting and nipped out for more compost, only to find this gorgeous plant pot. Giving him a roof of succulents has cheered me up. I need a name for him/her - all ideas welcome.

I was fortunate enough to come from a very very large family - my dad had almost 50 cousins!!!
My cousins and 2nd cousins were my additional siblings. It never felt like I just had two brothers. Caravan holidays in Wales, fish and chips on benches and parties with bin bags filled with prawn crackers - all make great memories.

When your day isn’t quite the day you hoped for but then some of your plants arrive (more due tomorrow) and rain is forecast so the ground will be good to go.
Red Baron grass, Cornus sanguinea and sacred bamboo - lots of lovely reds and oranges for the garden.
First order from @yougardenuk but will be back for more.

People hire a coach when they are making a career transition, starting a new business, feeling dissatisfied, re-evaluating life choices, or simply looking for personal/professional breakthroughs.
A coach offers you feedback, insights, and guidance from an outside viewpoint but as an on-going collaborative partnership built on taking action.
Coaches also help you to be accountable for all those things you say you want to do but never get round to.
I have two spaces available for new clients this month so head over to my be awesome site and book a slot before they go.
We’ve spent the afternoon recycling old cushions to create a large cushion for our meditation seat. Who knew that ripping stuffing apart and repacking it was such an effort. Definitely worth it though.
When your brother visits for the first time since last summer and he brings gifts for your garden - how gorgeous is this Buddha? Looking perfect in my new tropical area, near my meditation zone.
